Arianna Innuritegui-Lint

Founder

Arianna Inurritegui-Lint, is a passionate trans educator and advocate originally from Peru were she graduated Law School. She has worked for the Florida Health Department in the field of HIV and AIDS since 2006. As a transgender woman, she has seen firsthand how her own community has been ravaged by this life-altering disease.

Arianna dedicates her time to educating, mentoring & advocating for people in her community. She is experienced in public speaking and facilitating classes and workshops about transgender issues, HIV in transgender communities, and diversity. She also provides pre/post counseling and testing and event planning in the field of HIV prevention, doing outreach for those at risk of contracting HIV.  Arianna has had the opportunity to work with ADAP & CHEERS for Peers, and the Work Group for Transgender people in the Florida State, for the Florida Health Dept. Later on in an Immunology Clinic, she was on the front lines with people that have been infected & affected by HIV as a Family Support Worker and as a Human Services Counselor II.

Arianna is the head of the South Florida Chapter of the TransLatin@ Coalition. She is currently seeking her Masters in Social Work.

 

John Byrne

At-Large Board Member

John Byrne is the founder and CEO of Raw Story and AlterNet Media, which publish RawStory.com and AlterNet.org. He is also the Executive Director of Prevention 305, a Miami-based nonprofit focused on increasing PrEP uptake in the Latinx community. He has worked with local community-based organizations on marketing to increase awareness of PrEP for HIV prevention. He leads South Florida’s PrEP Facts and Grindr PrEP Educators Facebook groups. A graduate of Oberlin College, he wrote about his personal experience about PrEP for The Atlantic, “When Condoms Aren’t Enough."

Natalie Pabon

Tester & Counselor

Natalie has been doing advocacy since 2004 and now has been with Arianna's Center for some  as a Tester and Counselor.
